Pee-Wee Rules

  1. Regulation games are three innings or one hour and 15 minutes long, whichever comes first.
  2. No score or record of the game is kept.
  3. This a tee program only. The ball is not pitched, but hit off a tee located on home plate. The tee is removed by the batting coach after the ball is hit by the batter to provide access to home plate for runners from third base.
  4. Batters are not permitted to swing at the ball until the batting coach has assured that the defensive team is ready.
  5. Batters are not permitted to bunt or swing easy at the ball. The ball must pass a 6' arc in front of the tee or else it is foul.
  6. Batter cannot strike out, but must put the ball in play.
  7. On a hit to the outfield the batter can go to second base.
  8. A complete roster of team members shall be listed for each game and all members shall bat continuously in that order until all players have batted in that inning.
  9. Players are not permitted to steal or lead off bases.
  10. There are no outs.
  11. There is no infield fly rule.
  12. Base runners may not advance on overthrows at any time the ball leaves the infield playing area, even if it remains in fair territory in the outfield.
  13. Helmets must be worn by batters, base runners, and the catcher at all times.
  14. A player may not play more than one inning at the same position, and must rotate infield/outfield positions.
  15. There will be a pitcher, catcher, and no more than five infielders. All other team members will play outfield.
  16. All infielders must play no closer then 5' inside the bases lines before the ball is hit.
  17. The tee must be set so that it will stand straight up in a vertical position; not slanted either way.
  18. Three coaches of the defensive team will be permitted to station themselves in the field of play behind the infielders. At no time can the coach participate in the play.
  19. Coaches of the offensive team may locate opposite first base, third base, and as batting coach. At no time can the coaches participate in the play. The offensive coaches will act as umpires for their team.
  20. NO metal cleats of any kind will be allowed on the playing field by team members.
