Camp Directors
Head Coach Don Maines has recently signed on as the new Head Baseball Coach at Long Island University. This will be Don’s 14th season coaching college baseball on the division I level. Coach Maines is already Drexel Baseball’s all time wins leader with 258 coaching victories in 13 years. The effects of Maines’ coaching influence began to surface immediately as the Dragons improved from four victories in 1991 to 19 wins the following spring. Under Coach Maines’ direction, the Drexel Baseball team appeared in the America East Championship game three times in 1993, 1995, and 1996. Maines assumed control of a Drexel program that had enjoyed just two winning seasons since turning Division 1 in 1974. Four years later, in 1994, the Dragons posted their first of four consecutive winning campaigns with a 26-17 overall record. Don is married with 2 boys and he resides in Newtown, Pa.
New Hope-Solebury High School Head Baseball Coach Matt Schram has worked with Coach Maines at The Touch Em’ All Baseball camps for 6 years. Coach Schram is entering his 7th season on the high school baseball and 15th season overall. Coach Schram first coached at Great Valley High School, then at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School and completed 3 years as an assistant at CR South. Coach Schram has been invited to assist in hitting for the Philadelphia Phillies at their fantasy camp in Clearwater, FLA in January. Coach Schram will be working with former hitting coach and player, Del Unser. Coach Schram is the 11 year old travel/tournament coach at Tri Township. Matt is married with three children and resides in Newtown, Pa.
