Just as in the beginning baseball program, this program
utilizes a tee for batting and a smaller, more easily grasped,
11 inch rubber softball. As the group progresses, less emphasis
is placed on the use of the tee and a coach will pitch to the children.
Fundamentals of the game will be taught and the emphasis will be
on fun and learning the game. Tri-Township will attempt to have
only seven to eight players per team to allow for more individual
instruction.
Tri-Township reserves the right
of final player placement based on the child’s ability to
be competitive and make improvement during the season.
Equipment and Uniform
At Tri-Township every age level plays in a properly maintained softball field.
All children are issued caps, and shirts. All equipment is the latest and
no expense is spared when it comes to safety.
