Regular season Travel play begins in early May and
ends in late July.
This program is designed for players
who want to play more baseball at a higher level of competition,
compared with the Tri-Township "in-house" program. Tryouts will be held for
both Travel and Tournament teams. If there are enough children to
participate, Tri-Township may enter multiple travel and tournament
teams for one age division. For a player to be eligible to participate
in the Travel program, the player MUST play in the Tri-Township "in-house" league.
Between the in-house and Travel schedules there are approximately 30 games.
Children need not play Travel baseball to be considered for Tournament play.
In order to be eligible for Travel teams, parent(s)
must have read and signed a copy of the Tri-Township Code
of Conduct.
Tournaments
The Tri-Township Babe Ruth Baseball League will
enter the Babe Ruth District 3 Tournaments in all age brackets
offered. In addition to this, we will enter tournament level teams
in all age brackets from 8 to 15. These teams will be competing
in such familiar invitational tournaments as the Hamilton Little
Lads, Upper Makefield and our own Delaware Valley 10 year old invitational
tournament. These tournaments are usually scheduled for July and
early August. Positions on these teams are generally awarded to
the most talented and experienced players in each age group.
In order to be eligible for Tournament teams,
parent(s) must have read and signed a copy of the Tri-Township Code
of Conduct.
